Dr. M. Karthik is an academician with a span of administrative and academic experience, from teaching at one end of spectrum to managing researches at the other. He became the Associate Professor of Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (A) in April 2023 after joining as Assistant Professor in January 2022. Before joining SVECW, he was the Assistant Professor of St. Joseph University’s Management School, Nagaland. He is having 6 years of teaching experience including 6 months as Head of the Department i/c and Three years as Secretary for Management Research Forum at St. Joseph University. Dr. M. Karthik had obtained his B.Sc. Degree Zoology from Bishop Heber College, Tiruchy in the year 2008 and participated in NCC Air Force and Nature Club. He completed his M.B.A with the specializations in Human Resources Management and Marketing Management from Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2010. He obtained his Ph.D in Human Resource Management in the year 2019 from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu. Dr. M. Karthik is the approved supervisor in St. Joseph University, Nagaland for Guiding Ph.D scholars. An inspiring teacher and mentor of research, he has guided three Ph.D. scholars for a year and 50 P.G level students. He has got a rich research experience to his credit with publishing fifteen research articles in journals and conferences including two Scopus article publications. He had been a member in various committees like Disciplinary Committee, Academic Working Committee and Research Advisory Committee in St. Joseph University also served as reviewer in two renowned journals. Dr. M. Karthik is serving as Board of Studies member of Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women and School of Management, Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore. Dr. M. Karthik is a life member of The International Management Research and Technology Consortium (IMRTC), USA and life member of International Association of Academic plus Corporate (IAAC) and Education Research and Development Association (ERDA). He also worked for 5 years in HR & Administrative and Cashier Cum Appraiser at Bengaluru from 2010 to 2015. An acclaimed administrator and accomplishing educator, Dr. M. Karthik has always believed in, smart work with perseverance and has worked towards setting unique standards in academic affairs. As a dynamic empathetic academician, he motivates many hearts and inspires many minds. He is widely known for his simplicity, honest and sincerity.
