Kathleen Anangwe is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Social Work and African Women’s Studies at the University of Nairobi. She is a Development Sociologist whose area of research and interest includes social inequalities particularly relating to gender disparities and the rights of vulnerable groups in society; social stratification and globalization. She is a member of the Bioethics Society of Kenya and the International Sociological Association (ISA).
