Dr. Khalid Hussain Mir is a Senior Researcher of Islamic Studies at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, J&K, India. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Islamic Studies at BGSBU, focusing on “Muslim Modernist Thought with Special Reference to Dr. Fazlur Rahman Malik”. He also holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Kashmir and a Master’s in Public Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Dr. Khalid’s expertise extends to Public Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights, and Peace Education, with a current focus on integrating and Islamizing knowledge in the modern context. He serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for multiple national and international journals, including the Journal of Islamic Thought & Civilization, Al-Afkar Journal of Islamic Studies, and the International Journal of Education, Culture, and Society (IJECS). He is also an Associate Editor of the Middle East Journal of Islamic Studies and Culture.
In recognition of his scholarly contributions, Dr. Khalid received the SAS Young Research Fellow Membership from the Scholars Academic and Scientific Society in 2021 and the Best Researchers Award 2022 from FoxClues India Prime.
