Dr. Manuj Awasthi has been working as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Fruit Science, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, since July 2022. Despite teaching, he’s doing research and extension activities on various Horticultural Crops. He was researched with ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi, as a Junior Research Fellow on a DBT-funded project on orchids and citrus species collection and conservation through tissue culture techniques. He was awarded a B.Sc. Degree in Horticulture by HNB Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand and M.Sc. Degree in Horticulture (Fruit Science) by V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar (Pauri Garhwal), Uttarakhand, and honored with Ph. D in Horticulture by S.V.P. University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, having a brilliant academic record. He was also qualified ASRB – NET in Fruit Science. He published 25 Research articles, review articles, Books, Book Chapters, Manuals, Patents, and popular articles in various National, international, and reputed magazines.
