Dr. Mohamad Harris Misran was born in Johor, Malaysia. He received his B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK, in 2006. Following this, he obtained his M.Eng. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2008. His academic journey culminated with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, in 2019, focusing on the research area of Wireless Power Transfer.

Dr. Harris joined the Fakulti Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan Elektronik dan Komputer (FTKEK) at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in 2006, where he has been an active lecturer and researcher ever since. He teaches a range of subjects, including:
