Dr. Mohamed Hussein Osman Elfakhrany is a civil engineer and researcher currently affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. He holds both a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. His research focuses on advanced engineering materials and their applications in structural systems, and he has published five research papers in top-rated international journals in this field.
Dr. Elfakhrany has over eight years of professional experience in the design and execution of major infrastructure projects, including the Cairo Metro and Monorail systems. In addition to his work in Egypt, he has contributed as a freelance consultant to several mega projects across Gulf countries, further broadening his expertise in large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering environments. His core competencies include structural design, construction materials, and integrated project delivery, with a strong focus on bridging research and practice to support sustainable and high-performance infrastructure.
