I am Yusuf Mohammad Auwal, an academic staff member in the Department of Physics at Yobe State University, Damaturu. Nigeria. I specialize in Nuclear Physics, with a research focus on Radiation Physics, nuclear structure, radioactive decay and nuclear energy applications. My work aims to advance our understanding of atomic nuclei and their interactions, which has implications for energy production, medical applications, and environmental protection. With a deep commitment to both teaching and research, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. I enjoy mentoring students and am dedicated to guiding the next generation of physicists, helping them build a strong foundation in theoretical and experimental physics. I look forward to contributing to our department’s academic goals and collaborating with colleagues on research initiatives. I am always open to discussions on research ideas, collaborative projects, and ways to enhance our curriculum to meet the evolving demands of the field of physics. Thank you, and I look forward to connecting with each of you.
