Dr. Muhammad Bilyaminu Ado in February,1997 got appointed by the Kano State College of Arts Science and Remedial Studies as Assistant Lecturer and rose up to the rank of Chief Lecturer up to July, 2018. In August, 2018 transfer his service to Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano (Formerly Known as Northwest University Kano), as Senior Lecturer Economics. In 2001 he got admission in to the Department of Economics, Bayero University Kano for MSc. Economics programme, which was successfully completed in 2005. He registered himself as Ph.D. student in the department of Economics, Bayero University Kano in 2012 which completed in 2017. He was the Head of Economics Government Senior Secondary Commercial School Airport Road Kano 1996 to 1997. And also Head of Management Sciences Department of College of Arts, Science and Remedial Studies, Kano between 2001 and 2012. He also served as a Member Care-taker Committee (Vice Chairman/Supervisory Councillor Works) Nassarawa Local Government between 2002 and 2003. In 2019 he was elected as Head of Economics Department, Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano(YUMSUK) and then elected as Dean Faculty of Social and Management Sciences to date. Member YUMSUK Council representing Senate, Member representing Senate in the Search Panel for new Vice Chancellor in 2020.Member Library Committee, Member resource verification team for Postgraduate Programmes and etc. He is also Member for Working Committee for the Establishment of Kano Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Dawakin Tofa, Kano State since 2011.
