Dr. Ndagijimana Ibrahim, Ph.D has the honor of linking industry work and academia. He has over 15 years of professional experience in Capacity Development, Governance, Leadership, Management as well as Peace, Security and conflict transformation. He served at various leadership positions in local government of Rwanda “Decentralized Entities” including not limited to District Executive Secretary/Chief budget Manager, Director/Head of Governance Department. As Senior Consultant, he provides technical and strategic advises to the Public, Private, Local and International Organizations in areas above mentioned. He has published in the reputable international journals the research papers, articles and books. His research work is in the Governance, Decentralization, Peace, security and conflict management in Africa, institutional capacity development and policy analysis interventions. He is a lead trainer of Governance, Decentralization, Peace, security and conflict management, Policy Formulation and Policy Analysis. He conducted and coordinated research and published papers and books. He received his Ph.D. in Governance and Leadership (USA) and his three Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Management (KIU), Peace and Conflict transformation (UNR), Local Governance Studies (UR) with other post diploma in Local Management (ENAP/CANADA/RIAM). He received a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Science from the Universite Libre de Kigali (ULK). Addition to this, gained practical skills gained from various international training institutions like United Nations for Training and Research, UNITAR, European Security and Defense College, ESDC, Pretoria University, Young African Leaders Institute, YALI, World Bank and training on post conflict peacebuilding programming by the Centre for Gender, Peace and Governance Africa, Geneva Centre for security sector governance, Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities as well as Coalition For Peace in Africa (COPA) to mention but few.
