Nurul Ilyana Muhd Adnan is a senior lecturer at the Research Centre for Sharia, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Her areas of expertise include Islamic Finance, Zakat and Tax Fund Management, and Islamic Jurisprudence. She has a wealth of research experience in the areas of Islamic finance, Islamic jurisprudence, tax management, and zakat fund management. She instructs numerous courses on the following subjects: Fiqh Muamalah, Fiqh Ibadah and Munakahat, Contemporary Fiqh Issues, Fiqh Munakahat, Philosophy of Islamic Jurisprudence, Zakat and Taxation and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence. She has delivered numerous papers on the administration of Zakat funds and Islamic finance at both the domestic and international levels. Additionally, she serves as a consultant for UKM Consulting.
