ABOUT OGOCHUWKU ESTHER OKAFOR , PhD Dr. Ogochukwu Esther Okafor started her journey in the civil service over 30 years ago, she started as a university administrator for 25 years and transitioned to an academic position over 5 years ago. While an administrative staff she did not stop her learning, she went for her master’s degree and did so well that her project supervisor urged her to go for her PhD and consider transitioning to a lecturer which she pursued because it was something she also wanted. she is a scholar per excellence in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State Nigeria. She has a Bsc, Msc and PhD in Cooperative Economics and Management and in her short teaching career She has published 27 journal articles in both International and local journal houses. She has attended many Conferences and Workshops. She has written 5 book chapters and has won the Wikimedia grants. She is a reviewer in two international journals, an editor and member of the editorial board of Nigerian Journal of Cooperative Economics and Management Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State Nigeria. She teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and a member to different Committees in the University. she is a firm believer in the power a woman wields. She believes a woman must own her own, build her life and attain success so as to be of substantial influence and help to her family and the society at large
