Oluyemisi MAJEBI, a Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Carleton University, is an early childhood education expert with more than two decades of cognate and field experience. She obtained a PhD in Early Childhood Education from the Department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundations, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where she currently works as a lecturer in the same field. As a budding scholar, she taught in nursery class for more than a decade. She has published articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals and books, respectively. She is a member of two research teams that won the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Her areas of research interest include the decolonization of the African early childhood educational system (Indigenous ECE pedagogy), Child’s Rights, Inclusion, and Capacity building. Dr Majebi is a reviewer of some national and international reputable journals in her field of study.
