Biography
Dr. Omaimah Abdulbasit Mindalano is an experienced educator with more than eight years of expertise in teaching, leadership, and program management. She earned her Doctorate in Education with a focus on Leadership and Management from Liceo de Cagayan University and holds a Master’s degree in Education specializing in School Administration. Currently, she serves as a Grade Six Adviser at Uya-an Central Elementary School, while also performing essential duties as a School SPG Adviser, District GSP Coordinator, District Science Coordinator, and School Reading Coordinator. Her impact on education goes well beyond the classroom, demonstrated by her accolades, including the Best Research Abstract Award at IRCE2024 and several district-level honors, such as being named District Best Teacher for three consecutive years. As a Certified Research Specialist, she excels at incorporating innovative teaching strategies, developing curricula, and leading student leadership initiatives. Dr. Mindalano’s commitment to promoting literacy and comprehensive education is highlighted through her leadership in programs like Siyap ko Kapaganad and the creation of alternative learning materials.
