Dr Sharifah Muzlia Syed Mustafa is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She teaches various codes relating to education such as counselling, educational psychology and research methodology. She is currently the Head of the Education Department. She received her doctorate in Educational Psychology, and Master of Science in Guidance and Counselling from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology is from University of Georgia, USA. Her passion is first in teaching, followed by research and student counselling. Her research interest is in motivation, stress and mental health. She is active in giving talks on mental health and research matters.
