Dr. Sharon C. Masula is a dedicated educator, researcher, and author with extensive experience in the field of Filipino language, literature, and education. Currently serving as Professor 2 at Aklan State University, she has spent more than two decades shaping academic excellence through teaching, research, and literary contributions. Guided by the philosophy, “prepare for tomorrow by working today,” she is committed to continuous learning, productivity, and professional growth. Her expertise includes research writing, poetry, storytelling, and academic instruction.
Dr. Masula earned her Doctor of Education major in Filipino Language Teaching from Filamer Christian University and a Doctor of Philosophy major in Filipino Literature from Manuel L. Quezon University. She has authored and edited several books and research publications focused on Filipino literature, indigenous culture, and language studies. In addition to her academic achievements, she is an active member of professional organizations such as SAGIP-WIKA Inc. and League of Academic Professional and Interdisciplinary Society (LAPIS Inc.), further demonstrating her dedication to advancing education and cultural scholarship.
