I am a holder of PhD. in Agricultural Economics, and currently a Lecturer at Makerere University, Department of Agribusiness and Natural Resource Economics. I possess vast experience as an academic, trainer, consultant and researcher in developing countries including: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ghana. I have over 30 years of work experience in Agriculture and Rural Development. My specialties are in the following broad areas; Value Chain Development and Analysis, Production Economics, Agricultural Marketing, Cooperatives and Agribusiness, Farm Management and Accounts, Agricultural, Finance Agricultural Business planning and Development, Risk analysis and management, Investment Analysis, and Climate Change. I have been a Principal and, Co-investigator, Administrator, and participant for over 25 national and multi-national, multi- disciplinary projects funded by organisations such as: FAO, USAID, UNDP, UNESCO, SIDA, NORAD, IDRC, ICRISAT, ICRAF, World Bank, Government of Uganda, many in developing countries.
