Dr. Suneena Rasheed, with a PhD in Teacher Education from the Maldives National University (MNU) and Master’s in Education and School Management from Mysore University India, and Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching from MNU, is currently the Controller of Examinations at the Islamic University of Maldives. During her past 20 years of service, she has held multiple roles in both Public and Private institutions, including teacher, supervisor, at the Centre for Higher Secondary Education; Educational Consultant (Practicum) in Faculty of Education at MNU; Editorial Consultant and Reviewer of the Maldives National Journal of Research (MNJR); Research Supervisor for both undergraduate and post-graduate students at MNU; and Deputy Minister to the Ministry of Gender and Family. Her multifaceted roles held in the private sector include Dean of Centre for Research and Innovations, Deputy Vice Rector; Vice Rector and Rector of Avid College. Apart from that, she has worked as the Vice President of EPS Foundation, which is a Non-Governmental Organization.
