Education

Dr. Sunil Saini holds a Ph.D. in Education from Sardar Patel University, Anand, Gujarat, where his doctoral research examined Scientific Awareness of Environment among Science Faculty Students in relation to selected variables. He has also qualified the UGC-NET in Education four times, reflecting strong academic competence in teacher education and educational research. Earlier, he completed both his Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with Mathematics and Science methodology from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, achieving distinction in his M.Ed. He also holds both a Master of Science (Mathematics) and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from B. K. School of Management, Ahmedabad. His multidisciplinary academic background in education, mathematics, management, and technology supports his contributions to teacher education, educational innovation, and research aligned with contemporary educational reforms.

Biography

Dr. Sunil Saini is an Assistant Professor at Tagore Government College of Education, Sri Vijaya Puram, South Andaman, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, affiliated with Pondicherry University. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from Sardar Patel University, Anand, Gujarat, and has qualified the UGC-NET in Education four times. With a multidisciplinary academic background including M.Ed., B.Ed., M.Sc. (Mathematics), B.Sc. (Mathematics), and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business, his work bridges education, mathematics, and emerging technologies. Before joining academia, he served for over 17 years in the Technical Department of the Indian Air Force, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. His research interests include teacher education, Indian Knowledge Systems, educational technology, NEP 2020, and educational governance. Dr. Saini has presented papers in numerous national and international conferences, published research articles and book chapters, and actively contributes to academic development as a reviewer for journal such as International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts and as an academic counsellor with Indira Gandhi National Open University.
