Dr. Sunil Saini is an accomplished educator, researcher, and academic administrator currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Tagore Government College of Education. With a distinguished academic background that includes a Ph.D. in Education from Sardar Patel University and multiple qualifications in education, mathematics, international business, and electronics, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in teacher education and educational leadership. Dr. Saini qualified UGC-NET in Education four times and possesses over six years of higher education teaching experience alongside 17 years of dedicated service in the technical branch of the Indian Air Force, from which he retired with the rank of Sergeant. His professional vision aligns strongly with NEP 2020, focusing on innovative pedagogy, Indian Knowledge Systems, inclusive education, sustainability, and the holistic development of future educators.
An active researcher and academic contributor, Dr. Saini has presented and published numerous research papers in national and international seminars, conferences, journals, and edited books on themes such as teacher education, artificial intelligence in education, inclusive education, educational technology, environmental awareness, and research ethics. He also serves as an IGNOU Academic Counsellor and research guide, mentoring postgraduate scholars in education. His institutional contributions include serving as Nodal Officer for NEP 2020 Implementation, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Village Adoption Committee, and Red Ribbon Club, along with membership in NAAC/NIRF and Institutional Development committees. He has participated in various FDPs, ARPIT courses, and ATAL Academy programs related to research methodology, blended learning, experiential learning, and faculty development. Through his academic leadership, research engagement, mentoring initiatives, and commitment to educational transformation, Dr. Saini continues to contribute meaningfully to quality teacher education and institutional development in India.
