I worked for National Institute of Education, Sri Lanka Seven years as curriculum developer in the Primary Education Unit. I joined the Open University of Sri Lanka in 2006 and progressed from Lecturer to a senior lecturer in 2014. I completed my MSC in 2011 and my Phd in 2014. I have always loved teaching, but my passion for research took time to develop! Research definitely affords one the opportunity to engage in life-long learning.
