Dr. Tina Allen is an educator, instructional leader, and advocate specializing in second language instruction and adult education. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Second Language Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Leadership from the American College of Education. With over two decades of experience in education, Dr. Allen has taught English as a Second Language across higher education, adult learning centers, and international online platforms. She currently teaches adult ESL learners in virtual environments, supporting the development of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through real-world, learner-centered instruction. In addition to teaching, Dr. Allen has served in leadership, tutoring, and volunteer coordination roles, including supplemental instruction at the community college level and long-standing involvement with nonprofit and community organizations. She is an active board member for Project Neighbors and the Northwest Indiana African American Alliance, reflecting her ongoing commitment to educational access, affordable housing, and community engagement.
