My name is Dr. Usman Abba Idris. I was born on the 2nd May, 1981 in Rahama village, Kiru Local Government Area, Kano State, Nigeria. I attended Bayero University, Kano Nigeria for my Ph. D, M. Ed and B. Ed Degrees where i obtained my Ph. D in Adult Education with specialization in Community Development. I worked with Bayero University, Kano-Nigeria. I rose through the ranks to become Senior Lecturer in 2020. I have close to two decades teaching, research and supervision experience at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. I served in different committees of the University. Currently, i am Departmental Postgraduate Studies Coordinator in charge of all Postgraduate Programmes in the Department of Adult Education and Community Services, Faculty of Education, Bayero University, Kano. I have some Development works experience having worked with World Bank, DFID, USAID and many other Ministries, Departments and Agencies in Nigeria. I am happily married with children.
