Anulika Valentina Etele is a lecturer in the Department of Guidance and Counselling, Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Family Counselling, from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in addition to Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in Guidance and Counselling. Dr. Anulika Valentina Etele is a certified Counsellor, Educationist, and an expert in family and marriage counselling. She also possesses excellent administrative, verbal, and written communication skills, along with constructive and effective teaching methods that promote a stimulating learning environment. She is currently the Staff Adviser and ICT officer of the Department of Guidance and Counselling in her institution. As a professional tutor of many years standing – at high school, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, her interest in people with disabilities and special needs led her to acquiring a professional Diploma in Special Educational Needs and Disability from the Blessed Cosmopolitan College, UK. She also led a campaign on the dangers of drug abuse among students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, on the 17th of November 2022. As a researcher, Dr. Etele has over 30 scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Faculty of Education National Conference, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. she has also attended several conferences, both local and international. This current work is a continuation of her passion for academic excellence and contribution to knowledge in the area of guidance and counselling for teenagers. Dr. Etele is a Member/Fellow of several professional bodies, some of which are, International Institute of Chartered Educational Practitioners (IICEP), Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA), African Indigenous Centre for Sustainable Development Goals, Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), American Counselling Association, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), The Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), among others. Dr. Anulika Valentina Etele is a wife and mother, she is happily married to Mr. Christopher Ugochukwu Etele, and the marriage is blessed with four lovely children.
