Dr. Munyai Vhengani

Dr. Munyai Vhengani is a Research Fellow specializing in Indigenous Venḓa Language at the Midlands State University National Language Institute (MSUNLI) in Gweru, Zimbabwe. She holds a PhD in Language Issues in Indigenous Languages, focusing on Tshivenḓa within Human and Social Sciences. She has served as a language consultant and has led numerous translation projects at MSUNLI since 2021 to date.

Additionally, she is a reviewer for the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Sciences (IJRISS). Her research interests include Literature, Language, Linguistics, and Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Her goal is to foster inclusive, respectful, and dignified living and learning environments for all, regardless of cultural and linguistic differences, by bridging cultural gaps and promoting the preservation of Tshivenḓa cultural heritage.
