Dr. Wilson Mumba is a Lecturer and Researcher specializing in Business Administration, with a focus on corporate governance, management, and business ethics. Currently a lecturer at Sunningdale University in Lusaka, Zambia, she has been teaching part-time since November 2019. She is also a recent graduate of the University of Lusaka, having earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration in October 2023.
Her academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Management College of Southern Africa (2006), a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from the University of Zambia (1994), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Mananga College in Eswatini (2002).
Her professional career spans over two decades, primarily in the energy sector with ZESCO Limited, where she held various leadership roles, including Divisional Manager, Regional Manager, and Operations and Maintenance Engineer between 1994 and 2015. She also served as Director at Wilflo from 2010 to 2015.
He is a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia and has research interests in Business Administration, Management, and Corporate Governance. Her recent publication includes the journal article titled “Evaluating Motivation Strategies for Sustaining High Levels of Employee Performance in Selected Parastatal Companies in Lusaka, Zambia.”
Her broad experience in both academia and industry provides her with a unique perspective in her research and teaching.
