Dr. Wilson Mumba is a Lecturer and Researcher specializing in Business Administration, with a focus on corporate governance, management, and business ethics. Currently a lecturer at Sunningdale University in Lusaka, Zambia, he has been teaching part-time since November 2019. He is also a recent graduate of the University of Lusaka, having earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration in October 2023. His academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Management College of Southern Africa (2006), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from the University of Zambia (1994), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Mananga College in Eswatini (2002). His professional career spans over two decades, primarily in the energy sector with ZESCO Limited, where he held various leadership roles, including Divisional Manager, Regional Manager, and Operations and Maintenance Engineer between 1994 and 2015. He also served as Director at Wilflo from 2010 to 2015. He is a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia and has research interests in Business Administration, Management, and Corporate Governance. His recent publication includes the journal article titled “Evaluating Motivation Strategies for Sustaining High Levels of Employee Performance in Selected Parastatal Companies in Lusaka, Zambia.” His broad experience in both academia and industry provides him with a unique perspective in his research and teaching.
