Dr. Yanawati Yahya is a Senior Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Section at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) British Malaysian Institute (BMI). She obtained her PhD and MSc in Electrical Engineering System, as well as a B.Eng. (Hons) in Industrial Electronic Engineering, all from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMap), Malaysia. Additionally, she obtained a Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
Research Interests:
From January 2018 to 2020, she served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Universiti Kuala Lumpur’s Renewable Energy Research Laboratory (RENERAL) within the Department of Electrical Engineering at UniKL BMI, as well as at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).
She is currently a Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honours. She is a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), and she is a Professional Technologist with MBOT.
Dr. Yanawati Yahya has authored and co-authored numerous articles and research papers for journals and conferences. As a dedicated educator, she supervises a PhD candidate and actively contributes to the research community as a journal and conference reviewer.
