Jugu, Yohanna Gyang was born on the 23rd May, 1968 in Jos Plateau State. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Jos. He is a Specialist in Financial accounting, Forensic Accounting & Auditing. Jugu went to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, where he obtained a Ph.D in Accountancy in 2013, after obtaining his first and second degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Jos in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Certified Forensic Accountant (CFA) of the same Institute. He has acquired vast working experience in the area of accounting practice and accounting academics, he works as the Managing Partner, Y.G. Jugu & Co. Chartered Accountants, and an Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting, University of Jos, Nigeria. Currently, he is the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences. There is no doubt that Jugu is a season practitioner and academic, with about 10 years in public accountancy practice, and 18 years of research, teaching and community service experience. He has served as a resource person and discussant of many workshops and seminars. He has 50 publications in circulation to his credit and has attended many international academic and professional conferences, besides serving as a reviewer to many local and international journals. Dr Jugu is happily married with four children.
