Engr. Muhammad Usman Ali is a PhD candidate in Engineering Management at International Islamic University, Islamabad with over a decade of experience in Lean Construction, Quality, and Project Management. Currently serving as Assistant Director (Planning & Development), he leads large-scale construction projects, applying Lean principles and the Last Planner System to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure on-time delivery. Previously a QA/QC Engineer at Haier, he drove quality excellence through Six Sigma and ISO-based systems. His expertise spans sustainable infrastructure, AI in engineering, risk management, and engineering ethics, integrating research with impactful industry practice.
