Francis Junior Quaye is a Lecturer, tourism and hospitality consultant, researcher, and licensed tour guide with interdisciplinary expertise spanning tourism management, marketing, and destination development. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Marketing at the University of Ghana Business School, following an MPhil in Tourism Management from the University of Cape Coast and a First Class BTech in Marketing from Koforidua Technical University.
His academic and research interests focus on tourism and hospitality marketing, destination promotion, ecotourism, experiential teaching methods, digital detox tourism, service quality, tipping practices, and tourism decolonization. Francis has published peer reviewed journal articles, scholarly book chapters, and multiple tertiary level textbooks on tourism, ecotourism, marketing, and destination planning. His work engages both theoretical inquiry and applied industry relevance, particularly within the Ghanaian and Global South tourism context.
Professionally, he lectures at Zenith University College and has extensive teaching experience at Cape Coast Technical University. He also maintains active industry engagement as a travel consultant and tour guide, bridging academic research with practical tourism development.
