Mabvuto MWANZA was born in Lusaka, Zambia in 1983. He received the B.Eng degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zambia (UNZA) , Lusaka, Zambia in 2009 and the M.Eng degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)/Kathmandu University (KU), Trondheim/Kathmandu, Norway/Nepal, in 2012. In 2019, he obtained his Ph.D. in Renewable Energy Technologies from Ege University, Solar Energy Institute. From 2009 to 2012, he was a Research Assistant with School of Engineering, University of Zambia and Trainer with Zambia Air Service Training Institute. Between 2012 and 2014, he worked as Assistant Lecturer at School of Engineering, University of Zambia and as a Guest Lecturer/Trainer at Kafue Gorge Regional Training Center. Between 2016 and 2020, he worked as Assurance Inspector for Zenit Energy & Environmental Technology Ltd in Turkey as well as Co-founder/Director for ACP Energy Ltd in Cameroon. From 2020 to date, he is working with University of Zambia, School of Engineering as Assistant Dean/Lecturer. He is the writer of more that 25 papers (Conference and Journal), one book chapter and one book. He has served as a member in several energy committees in Zambia and he is currently a member of Renewable Energy, Electricity and Alternative Cooking Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Energy, Zambia.
