Mr. Manish Kumar is an young, enthusiastic, analytical professional working the area of plant molecular virology. He was successful in identifying and characterizing several begomoviruses infecting Malvaceae (hollyhock plant ), and Solanaceae (chilli plant) including a novel virus species. He have also developed in vitro protocol for micropropagation of gynoecious bitter gourd for use in hybrid seed production commercial level and also identified and screened several germplasm lines for resistance of yellow vein mosaic disease in okra. He has Published many research Articles and even few chapter in Books.
