ABDUL RACHMAN MANGAAbdulrachman.manga@umi.ac.id | Ir. Abdul Rachman Manga, S.Kom., M.T., MCF, has been a permanent lecturer at the UMI Waqf Body in the Faculty of Computer Science, Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Makassar since 2009 until now. He completed his undergraduate studies in information technology at UMI Makassar Campus, then pursued his master’s degree at UNHAS campus in the same field, focusing on intelligent systems. To deepen his knowledge, he also attended various training programs and is currently pursuing doctoral studies (PhD) at the Malang State University campus in the field of Artificial Intelligence. As an instructor, he has expertise in the fields of formal language theory, compiler techniques, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. The knowledge he imparts is not limited to theory; he also provides guidance to students, such as building web-based applications, developing Internet of Things (IoT) technology, and creating computer-based intelligent systems. Besides teaching, he is also actively involved in research and community service. His research is largely related to the use of technology to help society, such as smart agriculture systems, IoT-based aquaculture systems, applications for monitoring child stunting, village information systems, and image processing. With his works, some have been published through article publications and book chapters. Hoping that the resulting technology can directly benefit people’s lives and help solve problems around us.
