Roles After more than 20 years of experience in the field of specialization, Professor Abdel Salam Abdel Jawad settled to work full-time as an assistant lecturer in financial planning in the Planning Department at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, University of Tripoli. The main roles of Professor Abdel Salam Abdel Jawad are to work as a researcher and primary lecturer and work as a collaborator in providing consultations to government agencies, companies and private institutions in the field of financial planning and administrative and financial organization. He also works as a reviewer for the International Journal of Scientific Research in the Social Sciences (IJRISS). A large part of Abdel Salam’s role is related to the culture of university research. It has a range of associated responsibilities, primarily with regard to the ethics of scientific research, conducting lessons to encourage investment through the stock market, and advancing governance through strategic planning. Careers Abdul Salam worked in many different places during the past 20 years, between government sectors and institutions, and between government-affiliated companies and private companies. He held many positions, including as a financial director and as a planning office manager, and we list some of them. Financial Officer from January 2015 – to July 2020 University of Tripoli – Tripoli He served as Head of the Accounts Department at the University of Tripoli until September 17, 2017, and subsequently assumed the position of Finance Director at the university. Internal auditor from October 2010 – December 2014 Social Solidarity Fund Tripoli Branch – Tripoli He worked as an auditor in the internal audit unit to ensure that all procedures stipulated in the laws and regulations regulating the work of the Fund were followed and to ensure that the disbursement vouchers met the requirements stipulated in the state’s financial law. He worked on several comprehensive inventory and survey committees and contributed to the preparation of reports on the unit’s work and reports evaluating the performance of other departments. Director of the Planning Office from December 2007 – December 2008 General Company for Rapid Transport – Tripoli He worked as an employee in the company’s financial department and assumed the position of director of the company’s planning office. Director of the Financial Affairs Office from May 2003 – November 2007 General Company for Water and Sanitation – Tripoli He worked as an employee in the financial department in the budget department and worked within the committee to re-dissolve and divide the company into companies according to geographical regions. He assumed the position of director of the financial affairs office in one of the companies emerging from the division. Research Interests Abdul Salam Abdul Jawad is interested in research related to the use of the planning method in bringing about sustainable development by bringing about change and development and encouraging foreign investment, which contributes to the exchange of experiences, the transfer of knowledge and technological development.
