Mr Bassey Okon,is a Nigerian from Calabar Municipal Cross River State Nigeria.Bassey also known as Koksy as fondly called by my folks was born in Lagos State Nigeria,in July 9 1987 into a family of a military (Nigerian Army)father though late and business mother who is in her 60s,he is the only son in the midst of 3 girls .He is a strategist, visionary and proactive young man aspiring for global leadership in reputable international organizations like United Nations, UNICEF, ECOWAS,UNHRC, UNHRC,etc.this is as a result of my ideology of “global citizen” whereby I desire to see an egalitarian world where all humans, not minding their race, colour, religion, territorial demarcations etc would be free from poverty, insecurity, refugee, social and racial injustice, environmental degradation,war and famine ,gender abuse ,etc. and are all reduced or eradicated. Bassey is so passionately about humanitarian gestures and community development where government officials and policy makers are made to respond to the plight of the downtrodden and those at the receiving end of government’s developmental programs.Bassey has been at the vanguard of pushing for electrification projects and other developmental endeavours in his community- akim qua town in calabar municipal cross river state Nigeria.his doggedness, resilience and selflessness has resulted in the successful actualization of constant electricity in part of the community begining from 2019 till date. Bassey is still a growing scholar and seeking fully funded scholarship to study any of the following courses: Peace and Conflict, environmental politics , security and strategic studies, development studies,etc. Bassey has experience in administration, secretariat, office management, executive assistant,teaching , supervision, project management and implementation, security and industrial access issuance and control,etc. Skills : proficiency in writing and research, effective communication skills, sound interpersonal skills,health safety and environmental Professional, security management,team management, excellent customer service delivery,teaching .
