Muchandiona Cosmas attended Kudzanai Primary School in Nyaminyami Rural District Council (Kariba) from 1992 to 1998. Between 1999 and 2002, the member was at Makande Secondary School, still in Nyaminyami District, doing his secondary education. The member went on to enroll for a Diploma in Primary Education – Specialising in Infant Education at Mkoba Teachers College which is an affiliate of The University of Zimbabwe between 2005 and 2007. In May 2008, he got employed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Zimbabwe as a teacher at Magororo Primary School in Hurungwe. Cosmas also worked in a number of primary schools in this district including, Dzimaiwe, Dombo and Sengwe. In 2018, the member graduated with his first Degree at Midlands State University. The member was promoted in 2020 to be a School Head at Sengwe Primary, where he worked up to May 2023. In December 2022, the member graduated with a Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Development and Child Protection with Midlands State University. In May 2023, the member joined Midlands State University as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Education under the Department of Educational Foundations, Primary Education and Pedagogy where he is currently working at Bulawayo Learning Centre. He is a researcher, an author and a reviewer interested in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Education , inclusive education, ICT and Curriculum issues in ECD environments.
