Mr Muchemwa holds advanced degrees in law, international relations, development studies, and peace studies, and is completing a PhD in Public Adminstration – Peace Studies. His multidisciplinary academic background underpins his work in promoting accountable policing, restorative justice, and institutional resilience in fragile contexts.
He has contributed to several high-level research on prison rehabilitation, rule of law, and human rights, and is actively involved in research and peer review within the social sciences and legal fields.
