Biography

Gbubemi Erics is a data science professional and researcher passionate about harnessing data for sustainable global impact. He has over 8 years of experience in public sector analytics with a current focus on performance improvement and data-driven governance at HMRC. A member of the British Computer Society (BCS),Global Speaker and an active STEM ambassador. Gbubemi holds a master’s degree in Data science with Distinction from the University of Salford, Manchester United Kingdom. His interdisciplinary research interests lie at the intersection of global sustainability, smart cities development, Internet of Things (IoT), digital healthcare innovation, Data Science and ethical machine learning. He is particularly interested in how data can improve urban infrastructure and citizen wellbeing through predictive modelling and intelligent systems. Technically adept in R Studio, Python, SQL, Power BI and cloud-based platforms, he has built and deployed advanced analytics solutions supporting high-impact government and nonprofit initiatives. He also contributes as a peer reviewer for academic journals focused on applied science and innovation. Gbubemi’s academic work is complemented by practical insights from policy, compliance and social impact projects. He is based in United Kingdom and is currently exploring applications of IoT and AI in sustainable urban mobility, public health detection/diagnosis and monitoring.
