Raji Ibrahim Akintunde holds both a Bachelor and Master of Technology degree in Agronomy. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Science at West Virginia University, Morgantown, where his research focuses on holistic approaches to soil health assessment. His specific interest lies in understanding the chemistry of potassium in soils in relation to soil physical conditions and production system types.
Raji is a research-driven scholar with a strong passion for advancing sustainable food production through innovative research and development in plant and soil sciences. He has a proven track record of delivering impactful research outcomes, publishing in reputable scientific journals, and contributing to interdisciplinary projects. He is skilled in experimental design, data analysis, and collaborative research.
He is also a proud member of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture, in the United States.
