Biography
I am a finance scholar and a policy researcher whose work bridges economics, financial innovation, and investment strategy. My academic and professional journey so far demonstrates a consistent dedication to promoting transparency, economic growth, and sustainable finance. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the prestigious Tai Solarin University of Education, where my passion for financial systems led me to serve as the Financial Secretary of ENACTUS, a prestigious student-led organization focused on entrepreneurial leadership and social innovation. Through this role, i had developed skills in financial planning, resource management, and project financing, laying the foundation for my later research on inclusive and responsible financial systems. Following my undergraduate studies, i completed my mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Abuja, Nigeria’s national headquarters for business registration and regulation. During this experience, I was opportune to deepened my understanding of corporate governance, financial accountability, and the regulatory mechanisms that drive business stability. My time at CAC strengthened my appreciation for how institutional structures shape economic efficiency and market confidence. Currently, I am pursuing an MBA in Financial Management and Investment at Lincoln University, Oakland, California, where I am expanding my area of expertise in capital structure, risk management, and financial technology (FinTech). My academic work and research publications reflect a deep interest in how monetary policy, interest rate volatility, and technological innovation affect investment performance and economic resilience. I have published articles, including The Effects of Monetary Policy and Interest Rate Volatility on Investment and Corporate Performance, The Role of Financial Technology in Reducing Wealth Inequality, Sustainable Finance and Economic Resilience in Emerging Markets, among others, which they demonstrate a coherent focus on developing financial systems that balance growth, stability, and inclusion. Across my portfolio, my analyses aim to strengthen decision-making frameworks in corporate finance, enhance policy design, and support equitable distribution of wealth. Through my academic research and professional experiences, i continue to contribute to a forward-looking understanding of finance as a tool for development.
