Mr. Karawita Arachchige Akalanka Nuwan Thilakarathna is a Lecturer in Law attached to the Institute of Human Resource Advancement of the University of Colombo and he is also an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and he was called to the bar in 2018. He possesses a Bachelors Degree in Law obtained from the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, and a Masters Degree in Law from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University where he came in the top of the batch and was awarded the trophy for best overall performance in the master of laws program by only becoming the second recipient of the said award. His research interest includes labor law, commercial law, and international law. He has published more than 30 articles and 10 abstracts on various fields of law.
