Mr. Nickson Tsofa Mweni is a Doctoral student of Mathematics Education in the Department of Educational Communication and Technology, Kenyatta University, Kenyan. His PhD focuses on Mathematical Learner Identities and Performance in Mathematics. The study investigated, comprehends, and generated a prototype guideline to manage the influences of classroom-based psychosocial, socio-economic, and socio-cultural related Mathematical learner identities on student performance in Mathematics. He has been involved in several studies related to Affective Factors and Achievement in Mathematics; Institutional Analysis between Kenya and Sweden towards Democratic Coherence in Sustainable Governance; as well as A Systematic Review of Ethics and Privacy in Big Data Mining. He has been an international resource speaker and a reviewer of scientific journals. He is the author and co-author of several research papers in Mathematics Education, Political Science and Big Data. Therefore, he is highly interested in Affective Issues, Gender, and Mathematical Learner Identities influencing performance in Mathematics across primary, secondary, tertiary and university learning levels.
