Hello, I am Dr. Tamal Kanti Kairi, a dedicated and driven individual passionate about improving public health. With a medical and public health background, I bring a unique perspective to my work as an Assistant Professor of Community Medicine and Public Health.
My journey in medicine began with the completion of my MBBS degree, where I gained a thorough understanding of clinical medicine. However, my interest in the broader aspects of healthcare led me to pursue a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) in the discipline of Occupational and Environmental Health. This has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to address public health issues at a community level.
Currently, I am actively involved in academia, teaching, and mentoring undergraduate students. I believe in the power of education to bring about positive change and I am committed to shaping the next generation of doctors.
Apart from my role as an educator, I am also passionate about research. I am involved in a wide range of research projects, focusing on musculoskeletal disorders, congenital anomalies, tropical infections, hygiene practices, and mental health. My previous research works have been published in National and International journals. My goal is to contribute to the existing body of knowledge in the field of public health and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and communities.
I am a firm believer in continuous learning and professional development. As a highly motivated and passionate individual, I have dedicated my career to making a positive impact in the field of public health. With a strong background in academics and research, I am driven to continuously learn and contribute to the advancement of this crucial field.
As I continue to grow in my career, I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to drive meaningful change in the public health landscape. I am constantly seeking new opportunities to expand my knowledge and contribute to global health.
