Tochukwu Onyebum is a geophysicist and Ph.D. candidate in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he serves as a Graduate Research Assistant. He is also a Lecturer in the Applied Geophysics Department at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. His research integrates seismic, gravity, and magnetic data to investigate crustal structure, mantle dynamics, and tectonic evolution, with applications in earthquake hazard forecasting, geothermal energy exploration, and petroleum systems analysis. He holds dual M.Sc. degrees in Geology (Kansas State University, USA) and Applied Geophysics (Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria), as well as a B.Sc. in Geology. Tochukwu has authored 10 peer-reviewed research articles and presented at major international conferences, and he actively contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer for multiple geoscience journals.
