Mr. Waheed Oladipo Majekodunmi is a seasoned university administrator and astute academic researcher with over a decade of cognate experience in research and academics. He is a highly-trained and motivated academic and administrator with over twelve years of experience providing administrative support to various administrative and academic units at the Lagos State University, Ojo, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, ibadan, Nigeria in 2007 with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) classification, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree also in Economics from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria in 2016. He was a recipient of several academic awards and distinctions for his scholastic exploits; and these academic recognitions include nominee for UAC Higher Education Scholarship, University of Ibadan (2003/2004); winner, Professor Uche Isiugo-Abanihe’s Book Prize for Excellent Performance in Population Studies, University of Ibadan (2004); winner, Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) Prize in the Department of Economics, University of Ibadan (2007); winner, Professor C.S. Ola & Co. Chartered Accountants and Notary Public’s Prize in Management Accounting, University of Ibadan (2007); and winner, the prestigious UBA Prize for Best Final Year Student in Accounting, Banking & Finance and Business Administration (2 Prizes), University of Ibadan (2007). He is a member of several professional bodies which include the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM Chartered), the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), and the Association of Nigerian University Professional Associations (ANUPA) and the Institute of Corporate and Private Sector Professionals (ICPSP). He is presently a doctoral (PhD) candidate and research associate in Economics at Lagos State University, Ojo, Nigeria and the Founder / Executive Chair, Majeesky Consulting Nigeria.
