Prof. Zubair Siddiqui is an Assistant Professor of Urdu at F.G. Post Graduate College for Women, Rawalpindi, bringing extensive experience in higher education teaching and curriculum instruction. He holds a Master’s degree in Urdu Literature and a B.A. (Hons) in Mass Communication, Education, and Advanced Urdu from the University of Karachi, alongside ongoing M.Phil. research in Urdu Literature at Allama Iqbal Open University. His teaching background spans foundational and advanced coursework across prominent institutions, having previously served as a Lecturer in Urdu at F.G. Liaquat Ali Degree Boys College and as a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Karachi. Prof. Siddiqui combines his deep passion for literature with technical proficiency, utilizing his computer science background to integrate modern educational tools and engaging learning methodologies into the classroom.Prof. Siddiqui’s academic interest centers on classical and modern Urdu literature, literary criticism, and innovative pedagogy designed to foster critical thinking and student engagement. An author and published scholar, he written the monograph Dr. Syed Taqi Abedi Ki Shakhsiyat aur Fun Ka Jaiza, published by Educational Publishing House (Delhi, India, 2016), which provides a critical assessment of the literary figure Dr. Syed Taqi Abedi. Driven by a commitment to educational reform and continuous learning, Prof. Siddiqui focuses on simplifying complex literary and linguistic concepts, implementing interactive classroom activities, and mentoring students to achieve mental development and academic excellence.
