Mrs. Chidiamara Onyinyechi Adindu-Linus (Nee Ike) is a distinguished food scientist and academic team member in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) in Abia State, Nigeria. A scholar of exceptional standing, she graduated with First Class Honours for her B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from MOUAU, earned a National Diploma with Distinction from Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, and completed her M.Sc. in Food Processing and Engineering with Distinction from MOUAU. Her advanced research centers on optimizing food preservation, mathematical modeling of crop drying kinetics, moisture sorption isotherms, and the nutritional profiling of indigenous flour blends. A member of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), Mrs. Adindu-Linus is an active peer reviewer for prominent journals, specializing in gluten-free food formulations and local agricultural crop transformations. Beyond her classroom instruction and curriculum counseling, Mrs. Adindu-Linus has built a robust record in institutional administration and competitive national research grants. She serves on essential university boards, including the Committee on College Results Consideration (CAFST) and the Undergraduate Project Digitalization Committee, and has acted as Secretary for NUC accreditation bodies. Her research acumen is backed by multiple collaborative grants, notably serving as a principal team researcher for two merged Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) National Research Interventions investigating extruded functional snacks and local tuber properties. Furthermore, her global research perspective is highlighted by her design contributions to custom nanofiltration systems for agricultural side-stream upcycling in partnership with Newcastle University, UK, reflecting her profound commitment to sustainable food engineering and processing solutions.
