Omolara Oluseun Juba is an accomplished occupational safety, health, and wellbeing professional with a passion for improving the lives of aged adults and caregivers. With over a decade of experience in health and safety, Omolara has made significant contributions to the field through research, advocacy, and training initiatives.
She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, and Wellbeing from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Ekiti State University, Nigeria. In addition, Omolara has obtained multiple professional certifications, including OSHA Academy qualifications in General Industry Safety & Health and Health Care Hospital Safety Specialist. Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident in the numerous specialized training programs she has completed, covering areas such as dementia awareness, infection control, medication management, and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Omolara is the founder of the Adult Prime Safety Health and Wellbeing Foundation, an NGO dedicated to promoting aged adult care and caregiver safety through education, research, and public awareness campaigns. Her impactful work has been featured in notable publications such as Vanguard Newspaper, and she has participated in media interviews advocating for improved aged care practices.
With eight peer-reviewed research publications and a book chapter to her credit, Omolara’s work has earned global recognition, including awards for her contributions to aged care and occupational safety. She is an active member of prestigious professional organizations such as the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the American Association of Safety Professionals (ASSP), and the World Safety Organization (USA, Qatar Chapter).
