I began my career in August 1998 as a lecturer at the Faculty of Educational Studies. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Science and Technical Education at the Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). I have been appointed as the Coordinator for the Master of Education (Educational Administration) program (UPMET) at UPM and also serve as the Coordinator for the Entrepreneurship and Business Education Unit. Additionally, I was appointed as the Acting Head of the Department of Science and Technical Education at UPM.
Since 2000, I have taught various courses, including Commerce Teaching Methods, Economic Teaching Methods, Business and Entrepreneurship Education, Business Education Pedagogy, Agri-Entrepreneurship Education, E-Commerce Education, Entrepreneurship Education and Training, and Personnel Management in Education.
I have published 13 book chapters, 23 journal articles, and 32 conference proceedings at both national and international levels, including in the USA, Spain, Germany, China, India, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia. I have successfully supervised 50 Master’s students and 30 undergraduate students.
I have been honored with several awards, including the Excellent Service Award from the Ministry of Education (1999), the Excellent Service Award from UPM (2000–2013), the Excellent Teacher Certificate (2013), and the Best Paper Award (2011) from The 2010 Business and Education Conferences (The Clute Institute for Academic Research, USA). Additionally, I have obtained three intellectual properties and won gold and silver medals in various competitions.
My research interests focus on business and entrepreneurship education, educational administration, and teacher education. I have also served as a consultant for various projects, including those for the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
