Author Biography
Sakshi Mathur is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Humanities at Galgotias University. Her research interests include feminist literary criticism, cultural studies, and the intersections of literature with gender and social reform movements. She has previously worked on women’s writing, feminist critiques of modernity, and the cultural politics of domestic labor. Alongside her doctoral research, she has presented papers at academic conferences and contributed to interdisciplinary dialogues on gender and culture. With a developing academic career that bridges literature, feminism, and cultural history, she seeks to foreground women’s voices and labor—often overlooked in both scholarship and society—in order to build new critical frameworks for understanding modernity.
